Well, the Android 5.1 device part integrated with his Remote Controller has also his bug or bugs.
During flights I has experienced at least 5 crashes of DJI GO 4, during about 30 flights.
I realise that all, inside these communications and in this technology is very complex and have many variables, but this bug is indeed ridiculous (read unacceptable).

From what I've read everyone is having trouble with GO 4 regardless of device.

Can you compare your 'Nvidia Shield K1' with a low budget Chinese tablet like Teclast?

I honestly have no idea how they compare.
I have no knowledge of the ones you mention
the nvidia was 200 US and runs perfectly and has hdmi output and is solid
