Hi everyone,
I have a DJI Phantom 4 that I purchased new in 2016. It has been working great ever since and we even used it to deliver medicine during early COVID using a FliFli airdrop and release device.
Today it had its first crash while I was using it to do gutter inspections on our house. Using the P4 to check our gutters is something that we have done before large storms for the past several years. The downdraft even clears out most of the leaves. Today I got to the last couple of feet of the last gutter and somehow got the P4 caught up on something and it tumbled about ten or twelve feet to the ground, thankfully on grass.
The P4 appears to start up normally and the controller is working fine. From the DJI GO 4 app I can hit GO FLY and connect to the drone with a view out of the camera as usual. Sliding to take off results in an error: Takeoff Failed.
There are some other symptoms:
After powering up, the two lights under the motors on the same side as the battery cycle through the color and then stay white and blinking fast. The other two lights under the motors are not on.
Going to MC Settings | Advanced Settings | Sensors State and selecting IMU Calibration or Compass Calibration immediately results in a "Disconnected" error that displays momentarily.
Thanks in advance for any advice on what may have happened to my P4 and how to fix it!
