P3 Firmware Firmware Update

Hello everyone , I purchased a slightly used p3p at Christmas from a friend who upgraded to a p4 . Being new to drones I have read about and watched videos of flying the p3p over the past month . I've also flown the flight simulator for countless hours and I'm almost ready to fly . My question is about firmware and should I or shouldn't I upgrade as there seems to be many problems I have read here about updating. My current versions are
App 3.1.2
Aircraft 1.9.6
Remote 1.6.0

Any help on this mater would be appreciated as it's telling me I need an update .

If the drone flies OK, there is no need to update the AC, RC FW, or app. You can just ignore those update messages in the app and keep flying.
