FAA Registration and Rules

Hi everyone. I haven't bought a drone in a while, my P4 hit my checkbook pretty hard. Do new purchases include information for US users that they have to register their drone? Does the manual talk about current FAA regulations? Any input appreciated. Thanks.

I've not bought a new one since October but in mine was a leaflet about the FAA and a link to Know Before You Fly
