I know the court rules that the FAA can no longer require registration, but did they also strike down the accompanying rules like contacting airports?

I believe the court ruling only addressed the question of registration. Not sure when the 'rule' about contacting airport was instituted. It may predate registration. And if it was part of the earlier (I believe 336) rules governing model aircraft it wouldn't be in violation of congressional directives like registration.

The requirement to contact airports is in Section 336 of the FAA Modernization and Reform Act of 2012, and implemented in 14 CFR 101.41. It is entirely unaffected by this ruling, which only addressed the FAA 2015 regulatory action to require model aircraft registration.
