hi, as you know, I've bought my hubby the P3A for xmas, apart from a case to carry it in, what other things should i look to get for it?

+1 on the extra batteries but get him 2 extras and that will give him an hour of flying. If you live in a bright sunny area then an ND16 and Nd32 filter. Other then that, if you get him the batteries then a multicharger would be a good add on.

The Phantom 3 Advanced has 2.7k Video and is really good, but the camera is "hard-wired" and can't be removed. The video on these cameras is better than the GoPro in my opinion because it doesn't create a fish-eye look to the video.

Hi from a fellow Brit..
One battery will not be enough, so get him an additional original DJI unit from the place you bought it. Should be around £120.
I'd recommend a hard case to carry it. I have this one which is excellent..

Get him a lanyard for the radio control unit like this..

I don't know what he will use to view the DJI App so he can set up and fly the aircraft - an iPad Air/mini, iPhone or another device, but he'll need something to connect the radio control to the device.
Just my thoughts.. except to he's very lucky and it'll be a great gift.
