+1 on the extra batteries but get him 2 extras and that will give him an hour of flying. If you live in a bright sunny area then an ND16 and Nd32 filter. Other then that, if you get him the batteries then a multicharger would be a good add on.

Hi Darling (rottiegirl),
This is your loving husband signed in with a false ID.
What a lovely present you have lined up for me.Without sounding greedy all of the above will suffice,no need to spend to much.[emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]

The Phantom 3 Advanced has 2.7k Video and is really good, but the camera is "hard-wired" and can't be removed. The video on these cameras is better than the GoPro in my opinion because it doesn't create a fish-eye look to the video.is the camera good on these? or should i get something to attach his gopro4 to it?
Hi from a fellow Brit..thats great, thank you guys, your all very helpful, I'm sure ill be here for lots more answers as soon as he sets it up, he's never flown one before, hope there idiot proof lol
Thank you, I've ordered him the hard case already, I'll have a look at the lanyard, I've just ordered 2 spare batteries too. He'll be using his iPhone 7 plus and his iPad Air to run the remote,Hi from a fellow Brit..
One battery will not be enough, so get him an additional original DJI unit from the place you bought it. Should be around £120.
I'd recommend a hard case to carry it. I have this one which is excellent..

Get him a lanyard for the radio control unit like this..

I don't know what he will use to view the DJI App so he can set up and fly the aircraft - an iPad Air/mini, iPhone or another device, but he'll need something to connect the radio control to the device.
Just my thoughts.. except to he's very lucky and it'll be a great gift.
He'll need one of these for the remote to hold the iPad.Thank you, I've ordered him the hard case already, I'll have a look at the lanyard, I've just ordered 2 spare batteries too. He'll be using his iPhone 7 plus and his iPad Air to run the remote,
