Hi

My employer is wanting to obtain a PfCO with myself as the sole pilot.
If in the future I were to want to take on work privately with my own equipment would I be able to obtain a PfCO trading as self employed?
Effectively I would be listed on two PfCO.

Thank you

I'm probably missing the obvious but what is PfCO?

Hi . I'm presuming that you are in the U.K. Like myself.

I think that you would need to go down the avenue of compiling your own operations manual. You would then when this is accepted by the CAA be free to operate as self employed. I don't think you can operate as self employed with a the PFCO that is based on your employers ops manual.

Regards

Mark.

Thank you for the reply.

This is how I thought I would go about it. Once I have submitted the PfCO for my employer I will enquire with the NQE about a self employed operation.
I'll keep this thread updated.
