DYS 3 axis gimbal and phantom 1

I was looking to get a DYS 3 axis gimbal for the phantom 1. Does anyone know if an adapter plate to the underside of the phantom 1 is needed. Also can we manually control the tilt and roll with our transmitter. I am using a Futaba TJ8. Can the f1 and f2, tilt and roll be connected fom the naza to the gimbal as i would like to program various parametes to the gimbal with my futaba
