droneted ( ted4797) is watching

You may not see me but I am always lurking on here. I jump in when I feel I can contribute. I do more than just yaw motors by the way.
I have a P4P2 gimble that bent the gimble at the base. I figured that I would take the assembly off the drone and take apart the connection and see if this is just a bent piece of metal and maybe a stripped screw. What else do I need to consider? Everything else on the drone seems to be ok but hard to tell until the base gets straightened. I would rather send it out to get fixed but afraid of the cost.
