Is there a way to automatically get my drone to do a 360 video while staying in same place? Every time I try to turn slowly it is never smooth. (Equivalent of me standing still and slowly turning around)

Also Bought second hand drone P3S with range Extenders added but keeps cutting out video within a few meters. Wish there was a "Drone Shop" I could visit for help. Any one any ideas to stop this happening?

I can answer that question in one word.....Litchi.

I'm a new litchi user and have been wondering - what's the best technique to do a smooth 360? Multiple POIs in a circle around a single Waypoint?

You can only have 1 POI at any given waypoint, so you should either use Orbit, or you can manually configure the Aircraft rotation at a waypoint with no POI. Just a few degrees at a time with no actions in between. This is quite a bit of manual entry, but that method will work.

Sounds like no easy task then. Litchi cost money and looks very complicated on youtube videos
Litchi very easy to use, there's a litchi pdf download that's free,it's a good read and further your understanding ,,it's probly just as good as dji if not better, unsure on your bad conection wifi is a whole bag of joys, what sort of range booster you use, some are worse than antenna,I got one of those bad p3s and chucked some argtec on and still only get mayby half a km tops on a good day, some go for great distance, luck of the draw on that I think, and I sure that the same across all phantom range, some good some should have stayed at factory,,this silly range issue I had made me upgrade, still flys good,,,for smooth turns just keep practising very small stick input,,,,you could try a stick calibration under rc setting that might help if stick inputs not 100%,,

Litchi does cost money but in my opinion is worth every penny. It adds many features to the P3S that would not be available otherwise. It is my go to app to fly both my P3S and Spark. They have good tutorials to learn the features on their website.

Another alternative but much more complex with more features is Autopilot. It also costs about the same as Litchi.

[hey me noob here] I bought a used P3Standard and had problems loosing controller signal. Previous owner added a range extender and fouled one of the connectors in the process, they are tiny. I needed at least 10x magnification just to see the mashed connection. Luckily he left the old ‘receivers’ (or would it be ‘transmitter’) in the controller so I cut out the bad lead and soldered the good in its place. It works a lot better now.
** discharge static buildup in your body before touching any electrical innards **

I get smoother panning by going to Main Controller Settings>Advanced Settings>EXP and setting it to Gentle
Or you can manually key in your single preference, Rudder 0.3 or 0.35
It helped me, also unscrew your control sticks to lengthen them.

Yes, I bet some users would pay monthly / yearly for this software. ;)
I wonder how much Air-data is bringing in?
All they do is collect your data, and converting into graphs.

Thanks for all comments but prefer to stick to DJI go? Eventually managed to work out how to get options to do POI but when I did as in youtube videos, Managed to get it to do 2 POI but it was on top of record button and it didn't save anything so not sure what I did wrong.

Screen capture showing what was quoted above but no idea what the figures mean. Just want to be able to do a 360 degrees rotation while video as though I was standing turning but 100 meters up lol. I have enclosed my fav pic that I have taken to date, ( 360 of this would look good ) only had the phantom for 2 months now. Had Hubsan x4 H501 and so impressed with what I could see, had to buy phantom.
