Agreed, but it doesn't explain why the chip in the camera records an absolutely identical video.

Don't know yet, it's been way too cold to fly. I may pull the props and play with the app indoors.

Perfectly, so I bought a micro SD to lightning reader, downloaded the chip onto my Ipad 4 and all is well now. The live feed during flight still is poor but playback from the chip is fantastic. Thanks.
