P4 Firmware DJI goggle firmware

i'm on my second set of goggles that will not load firmware from dji assistant. Anybody have the magic pill?
Going to use them with Phantom 4, dji doesnt seem to know how to make the things work either. purchased the HDMI output module, now the tablet wont connect through the usb, i can see through HDMI on the goggles

hdmi to hdmi micro

You can't use hdmi cable to connect to your laptop to connect to dji assistant. I guessed right that's why I asked this question. Use USB cable.
