DJI GO 3.1.80 and iOS apple tablet

Will this combination work? From what I am reading 3.1.80 only works with iPhones not tablets.

If its an IOS device its limited to whatever version is on the app store, unlike Android phones you cant choose what version, as a sidenote i have an old mini 4 on IOS12 and the latest version just crashes out when launched but on my iphone 13 with ios 18 it works fine

Well I don't have a smart phone but I do have an apple tablet, I think it is a 6th generation. I read that you need a 8th generation or newer for dji go.

The DJI GO app on my iOS is 3.1.8 should it be 3.1.13? This could be some of my motor start up problems!
