Discharging Battery

I was wondering what is the best way to discharge my drones batteries, how often I should, and when would be the best time to recharge it.

I have the 3 battery charger that has a storage option on it to discharge it, and I did that once but I think I didn't leave alone long enough. I had a retreat I was going on.

So I have the battery pack, but was just wondering ways y'all discharge your batteries, and how long discharging usually takes?

Why not just let them auto-discharge. That function is built in. Just set it to your preference in the app. Generally speaking, storage values should be around 30-40% thereabouts.

@Daniel Lindsey, there's no need to attempt to discharge the batteries. They will start auto discharging down to the storage level after being idle (meaning the battery button is not being pressed) for the number of days set in "Time to Discharge" setting (which needs to be set in DJI GO while each battery is installed in your Phantom).
