Hi all. I read on here recently that when you take power away from your quad that it's home point is then lost. So the next time it is flown it won't fly back to the previous home point.

Does this mean you should do a compass dance after a battery swap ??

I fly an FC 40 very new to it but learning.

Hi Dogtag. The homepoint is automatically set during the initiation process after you plug in the battery. The compass dance has nothing to do with homepoint and you don't need to do it everytime unless you're in a new location many miles away from where you last did the compass dance.

Thanks for that. Still reading and learning on here.
