Choppy video feed

Took the P3S yesterday after updating the DJI go app and the video feed was really bad. It lagged, froze, etc. video on the ST card came out all right, but it made for a difficult filming. I had full signal on everything, and was maybe 100 yards out, but the feed was still choppy even 5 feet away. Anything I should check, or reasons why this would happen? It's actually the first time it's happened, and it was right after I updated the DJI go app.
It was my first time chasing a moving object, so I'm lucky I got a couple shots although I couldn't see the monitor great
