Can anybody help with getting the best settings In FCPX to get the best process image from 4k,2.7k or just HDI The videos are great on the memory card but they seem to deteriorate once they go into FCPX Final Cut Pro X.
What settings do you use to match the memory cards?

Seem to deteriorate how?

What settings are you shooting with?

It would be helpful if you rendered a small section of footage and upload so we can have a look.

Shooting in log with contrast and saturation slightly backed off things should start to look pretty good just loading your scopes in FPCX and doing a quick levels adjustment (assuming tou have the exposure settings right when filming).

Thanks every body, I use both BrorsoftVideo Converter and PavTube HD Converter which seem to have the same interface{ not sure if they are the same company}. I have been using FCPX since it came out. I also use Color Finale for colour grading .
Maybe the only solution is to upgrade to an Inspire 1with the X5R camera then I would have no excuses LOL.
