best buy price matching policy

For those that have used the "price matching policy" with Best Buy. I am curious if say the Pro is $999 on amazon where I don't have to pay sales tax, I walk in to Best Buy and ask them to match it.. will my final price be $999 or $999+sales tax?

Best Buy will only match the price if Amazon ships the item. They will add tax on top of the matched price.

True! Guess we need them too, but was hoping they'd back into the total price of $999 with the tax imputed.

I live in a state that Amazon collects taxes for. So its still a couple percent less than the county I live in...

Earlier today Amazon had new Pros for $799 & FS. I know a couple that ordered them. They only had 15 and now are out of stock. Even if it was a price mistake Amazon usually will honor it.
