How come you have to do a P4 firmware update with a Windows or Mac App (Assistant 2) Yet the piloting App is only available for Android or OIS? This makes the whole experience very expensive when you have to buy two different types of mobile device. I already had what would be a perfectly capable Surface if only the DJI app were made to work on it, But no, I then had to go & waste good money on a very nice Samsung tab S Because it has that terrible Android nonsense on it.
Does anyone know why?

Please Oh please DJI, make the Go4 app work on windows.

The P4 firmware can also be installed from DJI GO. That would be the best option for the small percentage of Phantom owners that do not have access to a Windows/Mac computer.
