For future reference, as you were in a public place and therefore acting lawfully, their abuse quite clearly amounts to a breach of Section 5 of the Public Order Act - commonly referred to a 'disorderly behaviour in a public place' and is committed when a victim (you) suffer alarm, distress or harassment by another's conduct. They commit the offence immediately and can be reported for summons to court; if they continue in the presence of a police officer they can and would be arrested.
People like these two women feel they can say what they want without any consequence - they need and should be taught a lesson!
My background to comment above - 30+ years operational duty in a UK police force, currently lecturing in policing at a north-west UK university.
