Anyone in South Florida know a good place that is safe and legal to fly? Tired of problems...

Check drone laws using uavcoach.com/drone-laws-florida. HB1027 pre-empty all local regulations. However, it does allow local governments to enact drone ordinances. No take off or landing on state controlled lands. As of 2019 only nine local governments had enacted ordinances.

Just to clear things up. Only the state and FAA set the ground rules for drones. Every county park can be flown in, including Markham Park as long as you are atleast 50 meters away from the airpark. You can also fly in Vista View park. You can not fly in the Everglades, Biscayne National Park, Bill Baggs Lighthouse in Key Biscayne etc. You can certainly fly in Bayfront Park in Miami and catch some great scenery of the cruise ships and the Skyline, Matheson Hammock Park, South Miami Beach, Crandon Park, Tropical Park...or any county park. The city of Miami has only one ordinance for drones which is that they cannot be flown during an event. Such as Miami Marathon, SOBE Festival, Football games, etc. If there is an event, then its an NFZ. You can print the STATE STATUTES and place them in your drone bag incase a clueless cop approaches you.
