Alternative to gopro

I have the H3 3D gimbal on a Phantom 2 . I want to fit an SJ4000 action camera but the male connection on gimbal is mini usb for a gopro . The SJ4000 camera is micro usb . I have seen mini to micro adapters on website ,so my question is will this work ok . There are not many action cameras with mini usb now . Camera dims etc are very close to go pro so physically should be ok

It's doubtful you'll find anything that will work as well as a GoPro on a zenmuse gimbal. The problem of these copycat cameras are the types of connectors used and where they are located. Also zenmuse gilmbals were designed around the GoPro cameras and feed the video signal through the cabling of the gimbal directly to a video transmitter. Plus the fact that the camera was powered through the same cable so it isn't using its own battery to power to do the recording.

Have you considered looking on ebay a used GP 3, 3+ black or even a GP4 black? They have some very good buys on those models.
