Sometimes you just get lucky:
Pilot error got my P2V+ too close to some branches about 10' above the ground. Crashed & bounced on some rocks below- upside down. (That's the good part!) Hit hard enough to actually pop the battery completely out.
Damage: One nicked prop, chipped decal. Lost video I was shooting at the time. (Darn). NO damage to gimbal or camera!
I guess if you're gonna crash, do it inverted.
