3D FPV

Try to setup 3D FPV App with no success.
Would like use it with my Phantom 3 Pro and VR googles.
I proceed like this:
- RC ON
- Phantom ON
- iPhone 6 ON with 3D FPV running
- Plug iPhone in RC

3D FPV get stuck with screen displaying : "Please connect to DJI drone"

Can someone help?

Try rc on, iPhone on, plug in iPhone and last step turn in phantom

I wait and wait and nothing happens

Have you enabled the app settings in HD for simulataneous displays from your HDMI output to your device and goggles? And the OSD slider.

Unless I'm mistaken, you are trying to run your iPhone and a pair of goggles at the same time? You need a HDMI module or a device/phone with a HDMI output.

I have a VR googles not a FPV one.

Ah, apologies, thought you were referring to FPV. I see the reference to VR at the start of the thread. A quick read of the thread suggests you have to register the device etc and have an Internet connection to do so and fire up in the sequence order as written. Have never used them but the thread makes sense.

To day I try it again in the right sequence and be sure that I have an internet connecting.

Good luck, looks like that the thread was written with your P3P in mind so it should be straightforward. Registration of he app might be the key.

Success it was an error of manipulation of the 3D FPV software.(Choose the wrong icon to set it up. Must be stupid)
Works well and first try fantastic.

Well done, enjoy. I looked at that 3D setup before settling on a set of fatsharks. Hopefully arrive next week from Sydney and I intend to scare the hell out of the wife once they are set up.

You can use fatsharks for drone racing or for Phantoms, a few different options out there. I want them mainly to explore the forest and lake where I live without having to look up and down at my iPhone device. As for the wife, I'll make sure she is sitting down as I have seen a number of videos of people swaying and falling over from the immersive affect!

Will do, heading down to the local beach and want to fly to a small island off the coast to dial in my brain for getting used to sitting in the drone camera.
