There is no way to raise the altitude limit. The distance is not limited. You can keep flying until the RC signal drops.

3000m limit? There is none.
You can fly your Phantom as far as the battery will take it ... if you are in a low interference area and brave/silly enough
500m altitude limit ... You just have to live with that one.
