“Wifi repeater connection failed”

So here’s the current problem - all software is up to date and I've tried iPhone 4, 5s and iPad Mini too.

I can’t ‘view’ the camera no matter what variation of turn this on, stand on one leg etc I try but it does fly well and takes pictures fine. I've scoured YouTube and can't quite get the info I'm after.

Here’s the LOOP that I’m in:

1) Turn on Remote, then wifi extender, then Vision, then start DJI App

2) Connect to Phantom Vision WiFi

3) Go to settings… bind camera

4) Take a picture of the QR code.

5) Binding Successful

6) Go to camera on App

7) Black screen and message “Phantom Connection Broken”

8) Go back to settings, to rebind:

9) At this point, the wifi signal disappears and will not come back, even after turning everything off and back on again.


The ONLY way to get the wifi back is to reset the wifi extender. At this point, I can RE-connect to the Phantom Wifi. I then go to settings, re-bind the camera, but then I get right back into my looping problem!

So, is it the FC200 WiFi extender or the Camera WiFi module at fault ?
