Zenmuse Protective Covers

Hi,

I recently flew my Phantom 2 and when I got home noticed from the footage something fly off!!!

Inspecting it more closely I noticed that 3 of the 4 protective covers (The pins with the discs you screw in at the end) were missing and must have flown off in flight. Are they essential to have when flying? If so does anyone have any ideas where I can get a placement or shall I just contact DJI? Is this a common problem I've only flown my Phantom 2 twice?

Are you talking about the metal pieces that go on the vibration absorbers for the gimbal? If so they are not necessary, but sure are nice to have, because if your gimbal falls off you will only have the connection from the phantom to the gimbal holding it on, and just getting over a crash mine flew off when I hit the branches.....luckily my gimbal fell gracefully :lol:
