I lost my DJI Phantom 2 Vision + in a soybean field in August. We were finally able to retrieve it this weekend. It needs a new shell, but everything else seems to work. Here's an edit of the video that was on the SD card.

Very nice video. I love our states beauty. The view above the quarry is very cool. Glad you where able to get the unit back and it was not smashed by harvesting equipment.

How did you lose it - battery dead?

Yeah. Because it was so sunny, I couldn't see my screen to monitor the battery level. When it started beeping, I tried to bring it home, but it didn't have enough power. It landed in the middle of the field. The soybeans were thigh-high and very thick. My husband and I couldn't find it. We located the farmer and let him know to watch for it. He found it at harvest time..
