Guys, the GO app also supports the P3 Standard, which as you know is WiFi based. My guess since I'm not sitting next to the OP is that he launched the app and the bird is off, so it's showing default menus for the Standard much like the original app shows Inspire menus when not connected to a P3.
PS, the app piggybacks on the OS's wifi connection for app updates. There is no reason for it to have it's own SSID/PW menu.
Odd. I updated yesterday and I too saw the little WiFi bug asking for a network name and password. Made 3 flights yesterday. Made a note to myself to find out what the WiFi was for but this morning the WiFi bug is gone from the DJI GO app.
Not sure what has changed....
Could the GO PRO app be attempting for force a WiFi connect?
