Which one should I get.

I have the Vision and I don't think the intention of DJI was to fly the craft FPV but only really there to line up your shot: photo /video.

It pretty much sucks for FPV and has to be line of sight for you to get video transmitted. Cant see your phantom cant see video feed

Thanks for the detailed reply. I have already purchased the Phantom 2 with gimbal. I'm just confused on the rx tx thing. That kit I linked says tx, but I don't see rx, or know which one I need to buy (if any?) and then something about needing a wire to hook the gopro into the transmitter?

Read page 6 of the manual. It will show the hookup for the Tx and the mini IOSD. The goggles should work as the receiver.
