I have two phantom 3 p one I guess is a little newer then the other. Just wondering if there is any difference in range or performance between the two models. Tia.

I saw a post in here once that showed the different transmission power of the gl300 a, b, and c remotes and if i recall correctly the A version had slightly higher power than the b and c which were the same. Other than that i know of no other differences.
I think this is the post you saw. I've had it book marked. The B&C are almost identical units. The A apparently had longer range and power output.

Here's something I recently printed to add to my "Manual Folder"
300A & 300B RC's both have the same power output for the control signal It's only the 300C version of the RC that has reduced power.
The 300A RC has the Davinci processor and USB 2.0 B & C don't have the internal video processor, but do have USB 3.0

I will add that the Power Output is also restricted by software. Especially in CE areas, the power is much more attenuated.
In dji-firmware-tools, there is a tool which allows to remove the attenuation from GL300 Main Controller firmware (m1400).
side question. If I am looking for a replacement controller for my p3 Pro, should I get the 300A for the Davinci processor or the 300B for the USB 3?
