Hello guys, I am in the process of fixing up a DJI phantom 3 standard with a broken gimbal main board. The gimbal is slightly bent, and the drone won't pair to the remote because of the gimbal damage. Does anyone know where to source one?

Many Thanks,
Daniel

There are a few options where gimbal parts are available here in the US, but since you are in New Zealand, shipping costs may become an issue.

Have you tried the 'local' dealers in NZ ?.........like Drone Depot in Auckland, or the official DJI repair shop DJI Ferntech in Christchurch? They may have some dusty old P3Standard parts lying around.

Other options would be to contact local drone pilots in your area using the 'Regional Meetups' section of the Forum......or maybe the 'Classified' section of the Phantom Pilots Forum for available parts.

Since you mentioned the gimbal arm is bent, there may be damage to the roll motor, and the roll and pitch boards also......including the ribbon cable.

Either way, good luck.......👍👍

"broken gimbal main board"
Is this the board that would I like to call in the gimbal plate?

Wow, I guess that's a good deal, with shipping?

Yeah, sure is, considering most other gimbals that I could find were above what I could afford.
