Hi, I own Phantom 3 standard but have not used it for about three years and as a result am having problems with some very basic set up requirements.
Looking at the numerous video's etc.. they refer to a P3S so first basic question is, do I have that model ?. Second basic issue , one set up procedure I read says to press and hold the RTH button, where is the RTH button ? I think it may be either S1 or S2 switch but they are toggle switches not push buttons.
Any help would be very much appreciated Thank you

From the manual..there is a free online manual in pdf form or just to read that's available to download as a refresher on the mind

As a reminder, if you initiate RTH, be sure to have your preferred RTH settings correctly set in the app, such as RTH altitude, and what you want the drone to do once it reaches the home point.....like hover, or auto-land.

As suggested above, review the P3S user manual before your next flight.

If you can't find the answers you're looking for, just post back here, and someone will be glad to help. Good luck...👍

Hey Guys, thanks so much for the fast responses I really do appreciate the help. I can't believe how much I have forgotten about the phantom 3 operation. At the moment I am trying to get the simulator working and even having trouble with that. Is it me or are the instructions from DJI lacking. Best regards

Calling the experts again !!!!! help
I have spent most of today trying to get my phantom 3 standard into simulator mode with no luck at all. From the start page on the App I have an indication that the aircraft is connected. If I click the three bars (Top Right) The drop down menu offers a choice to click on Academy or Store. If I click academy Flight Simulator is displayed with an enter button. If I press "enter" the screen appears to flash to a new screen momentarily but then quickly drops right out of the DJI App.
On the UAV the two rear led's are blinking green but the front two are permanently Red. According to the manual this indicates a critical error even though the App says Ready to Go (GPS)
Totally confused any ideas ???????
I am indoors while doing all of this and using an IPAD as my mobile device

Front red lights for the pilot to know front and back,no critical error.,,nothing else and can turn off in app
Rear green is good.
This simulator no longer supported and not 100% sure if works with newer app versions, if have old versions of djigo installed,
I still have old version for p4 on one of my devices but no longer available for the p4 to download,,not sure if the p3s are in the same boat
Link below says only for PC but again not 100% sure but look like DJI binned it which might be why not loading on ipad
It does mention if previously downloaded it should still work but it wont nowdays with new versions of app

I agree.........I don't think the simulator is supported any longer since DJI no longer supports the P3 Standard.

Thanks very much for the latest information. Through the link you provided I was able to find a statement from DJI that they no longer allow downloads of the simulator but if you already have it downloaded it should continue to work. So at least that saves me do any further searching. As I no longer have it downloaded It does leave me without a simulator. Does anyone have a suggestion for an alternate simulator that might be available Cheers
