What would happen if you bring the throttle all the way down to zero during flight?

Sometimes, when I am quite high, it is difficult to tell if it is coming down, so I continue to lower the throttle and I'm worried I will bring the throttle down too low.

My guess is the props would NOT stop and I would still have control, but I'm chicken to test it. Has anyone done it?

user FTZ has gone into the Naza Assistant and changed the settings for the motor to shutoff when the throttle is at 0. Hes posted a vid of what occured when he throttled to 0 mid air

personally, I leave the throttle cutoff at its default setting...whenever i land the quad i just position the sticks in the same manner as if i was engaging the motors...It shuts off after a second as opposed to the 3 second "smart" shut off
