I was given a Phantom 1 by a friend who retrieved it after it fell from a tree near his property. The owner left it there without giving a name or address. I waited 6 months to see if the rightful owner came back, but he didn't and my friend didn't want it. There was some light rain in the few days before the drone fell out of the tree, but it appears undamaged. My problem is that I don't have the controller or battery charger and don't know if it would be worth the expense of getting it tested and flying. Suggestions, please.

Sell it for spares, just not worth spending any money on it.

    Not worth repairing.

I would consider looking on eBay for a cheap controller and battery charger. Who knows, the owner might still be trying to sell the stuff he was left with after he lost his AC in your friend's tree!
