I have Dbs and just did the Papatita mod and in my neighborhood now I am getting almost 5000 ft can't wait to try out in country again and see before with just dbs would get about 3000 feet city and just over mile country.

My set up is weird, one minute it says I'm up to date, the next it's telling me I need to update, and shows I'm on 1.2.4.

Mine does the same, it shows up to date real quick, and then says you need to update. Well the update stuff is never going to happen.

I have 3 wifi panel antennas as a cheap $30 mod. Went on my farthest flight today of 2000 meters. I could have gone farther but wasn't brave enough. Flying in the USA

I got just over 3000 meters twice over an open field, I have the Argtek range Extender.

I can regularly get 3200 - 3500 feet with my stock P3S. I live in a fairly rural forested area.

Up until today I was struggling to get more than 150 meters or so. Just got back home and managed to get 700 meters!

What changed? I downgraded to 1.5.7, use the FCC mod (I'm in a CE country) and use DJI GO version 2.9.2. Everything else is stock.

Finally got a config that works won't ever be upgrading the software again!

Mine went 5400 ft stock over pasture land. With diy patch antennas it went 13,800 ft once, but that was an exceptional run. Always with the latest firmware.
