I'm in the Philippines right now, and I've seen some cell phone brands such as Oppo, myphone, cherry mobile, vivo, and more. Does anyone know if these lower priced phone/ tablet companies offer a compatible device for running apps such as Dji Go 4? I might be interested in investing in a lower priced android device from an "unknown" company just so long as it works! A bright screen is a major plus. Also, Mi and Huwei might be available here. The answer to this question might be a long shot, but I'm just putting it out there.

I am using a Huawei Mate 9 and love it. I got it under $300. used but immaculate. The only issue is, it doesn't run on Verizon and ATT covers 98% of Americans -- as long as they live in metro areas.
You would have GMS so you are good to go.

Using an Archos Oxygen 101b 10.1" tablet. It has no sim or GSM connection but it does have GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth, as long as I don't cache the video on the tablet then it works fine, cost €130 from a local discount electrical store.
