Warranty Transferable?

Hi,

I am being offered a used P3 4K for a good price but there are stress cracks under the motors on two of the arms. There is still about 9 months left on the warranty but is this transferable to a new owner? If it is how long would this take to repair under warranty?

To save fiddling around ask the seller for the original proof or purchase or ask for $100 off so you can cover the repair.

They have not got the original proof of purchase and that is the trouble. It is from a shop who have bought it in.

Yes. You just need a copy of the original purchase receipt.

Would be more for DJI to do it, probably an hour plus the cost of the shell + shipping.

You should have mentioned there is no proof of purchase and it wasn’t from a DJI authorised seller- that would have made the answer easy.

Think about the price he is asking compared to AC that don’t need work, think about if your prepared to have a go at it yourself and see if it’s still a good deal. It may well be.
