W T F ? Moment for an Osprey

I flew up close, but much lower to this light assembly an Osprey was sitting on. I then shot straight up, like the black helicopters unexpectedly coming up from behind a skyscraper, putting my bird eye to eye with El Osprey. The expression on his face is worth sharing.

Oh Gramm I was stalking the Osprey, trying to get a shot and doing a little research to see how the real bird would react to a fake bird. I can fly straight up and he can't so as soon as I was his altitude or above I was safe. I am an experienced wildlife photog and bought my phantom to investigate bald eagle nests. An Osprey is a good substitute trainer in absence of an Eagle. Always remember, with live birds, a confrontation is similar to a helo vs a fixed wing. You can't out fly him, but you can out climb him and he struggles to hover too.
