We used to take pictures via camera and long pole for our company scouting. We own a weather company and install 10 meter poles and up top have our hardware. For our new scouting we tested a P2, stock gimbal and GP3 for full 360 shots. The group and everyone LOVED them. The only negative is no altitude and direction facing.
So I am looking at the Garmin Virb which has some great features but don't see a real way to mount it. I am also looking at the DJI ground station (http://www.dji.com/product/ipad-ground-station) but not sure if that will work. It seems to show altitude but not sure on direction and will that follow into the video?
So I am looking at the P3 with some interesting live features, as well as what can I do cheaper with my P1 and P2 I already own that can give me those 2 things.
Thanks guys, looking forward to more questions and more fun!
