Hello everyone....new poster here.
Been droning for about a month with phantom 3 professional and read very many posts so learning quickly but have a question...
Like many I am happy with video quality but less impressed with focus on still shots. How can that be?... surely the process is the same to generate the image through the same lens?
Not sure I want to try fiddling inside yet as the drone is only a month old.
Is it really just a case of sharpening on a photo editing package?

Thanks

Hi Bazza
Thanks for the quick response....not found a way to manually focus the P3P, is it possible?

There’s a couple of videos on YouTube about re setting the focus on a p3

I found there is a visible screen difference between the still camera and the video camera brought on by some recent GO or firmware update. Video is sharper, but soon as I flip to still camera it is softer on mu iPad Air 2. The still images saved are sharp on the SD card though so it must be the displayed JPEG image is softer for some reason. Makes it hard to focus even with the Inspire 2 as well, but it's the way DJI 'fixed it.'

So what are people generally doing to improve their stills?

Take the image off the SD card into a computer and use an editor like Lightroom, Photoshop, RAWtherapee, One1 RAW, Alienskin, PaintShop Pro, etc.
