Video artifacts? Please help

I am pretty new at phantom flying ... I have the P2V+.

I am noticing horizontal bands on some of my videos under some conditions. Can you please help me understand this and also how to avoid? Is there a problem with my camera? The system is pretty new.

I believe that those are propeller shadows. They have lens hoods you can install on your camera to reduce this effect.

Go to eBay and type in "phantom 2 vision plus lens hood".

Get some paper thick tape. All you need to do is make a hat for the lens and make sure its not visible in the footage.
