P3 Firmware USB on GL300A

Is the USB the same on the GL300A as the GL300C?
for updating RC USB stick method.
looking for a USB micro SD reader & I thought I've read they are different.
2.0 & 3.0

Yeah, probably different. USB on GL300a comes from DaVinci, on GL300c it comes from Cypress directly.
