Turned on remote while firmware update

I had no idea the remote had to be off during the firmware update on the Phantom 3. Now im updating it but my remote is on, i tried turning the remote off but it doesnt want too. will it update with the remote on?

it shouldn't be a problem, if it is you can always do the update again.
