Running a little distance in a Phantom 4 STD in sport mode. Just to see how much battery it does take. wow.

yeah but running it almost continuously at 40 mph must be like driving 90 mph in a car, your fuel efficiency won't be maximized, right?

Correct. They have found flying at or around 31 mph will give you the most mileage.
