Thanks for the help..by chance I found a reference on YouTube to the seventh channel gimbal control. There I realized the problem why I had no response when I connected the alarm even though the Channel appeared active in the NAZA M app. You have to turn it ON in the Advanced/Gimbal settings. Live and learn!
