tilt lever only works when I have WIFI off

Installed my tilt lever on the back of the remote for my plus. It works well until i turn on my wifi extender. It almost disables it once wifi is connected. Any ideas?

Try it on the upgraded setting in the assistant software.
What you describe is how it behaves in basic mode and controlled from the app as originally.
