This won't be good for the hobby if true

This one sure faded from the news. You'd have thought they could rule a drone strike in or out pretty quickly, based on marks on the nose and probable pieces of the drone inside the nose cone. This is one of those situations where you'll never hear anything more about it if it's ruled not to be a drone strike.


Here's one that was "seemingly" and Open-n-Shut case but still took almost 3 months from incident until report and they knew the culprit within a few hours.

I was all excited to read that article and then got the "You gotta be a subscriber to continue reading this article".... Boooooooo
The incident happened in Dec 2018.
The report was released over a year ago.

Having worked on large aircraft for 45 years, this can happen from a lighting strike. The strike is very difficult to see from the outside other than a small hole about the size of a pin head and burned paint around the strike area. With out the radome being opened to inspect the inside it can be easily undetected and on the next flight collapse.
