Things to check after salt water crash

Tap water is ok for the initial rinse to flush out the salt but the final rinse should be with distilled water. Tap water will leave behind mineral deposits which can be as bad as salt. I also rinse soaked electronics with 70% isopropyl alcohol after the distilled water to speed the drying.
