Taking Screenshots With Android Device

I understand that, at least, certain Apple products will allow the user to take a screen shot of the image on their tablet...including all of the information showing your height, distance, etc....

My question is whether or not you can do this on Android devices? I am currently using a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. I haven't seen anything in the controls yet that would allow this to happen, or in the User center.

See what happens if you press the tablet on/off and volume down simultaneously.
That works with a lot of them.
It's a bit clumsy with it in the holder though.

There are various apps will record the screen but doing this and dealing with HD stream from the phantom might give your device a workout
